Why is Disney Plus missing some Marvel movies?
Why aren't all Marvel Movies on Disney Plus? The three MCU films that are excluded simply have streaming / distribution rights owned by someone other than Disney. Sony owns the rights to the Spider-Man films because they purchased the rights to Spider-Man back in 1999.

But, as Marvel fans will know, there are 27 total films in the MCU so far, meaning that four are missing. These are the 2008 Incredible Hulk starring Edward Norton, plus the three MCU Spider-Man movies starring Tom Holland—that is, Homecoming, Far From Home and No Way Home.
Disney has removed the 20th Century Studios Marvel movie, “The Wolverine” from Disney+ in the United States.
Under exceptional circumstances Disney+ will omit certain episodes from a TV series for a range of possible reasons such as ratings, rights availability, or other editorial decisions.
Existing Contracts: The main reason why movies and shows are removed from Disney+ are due to preexisting contracts that had been signed before Disney+ launched. For years Disney and 20th Century Fox have been licensing out their content to streaming services including Netflix, Fubo, HBO, Starz and others.
1. Disney Plus and Sony. It has been reported that the Sony deal with Disney Plus is going to release the Venom movie in theatres before releasing it on their streaming service.
Due to rights issues, Universal distributed The Incredible Hulk. Though it was produced by Marvel Studios, the movie is not available on Disney+ and is currently available to stream on HBO Max.
Disney+ has removed several movies, including “Dumbo,” “Peter Pan,” “The Aristocats” and “Swiss Family Robinson” from children's profiles on its service over negative depictions and stereotypes.
This is due to different licensing issues. This leaves just Ant-man and the Wasp, Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War on Netflix.
What two Marvel movies got pulled?
Disney has overhauled its film schedule, delaying the releases of “Blade,” “Deadpool 3,” “Fantastic Four” and other major Marvel properties. As part of the shuffle, “Blade” has moved from Nov. 3, 2023, to Sept. 6, 2024, which created a ripple on the rest of the MCU.
The first MCU film, Iron Man (2008), began Phase One, which culminated in the 2012 crossover film The Avengers. Phase Two began with Iron Man 3 (2013) and concluded with Ant-Man (2015).

For years, Disney+ has continued adding new films and shows every week, with brand new originals, linear network shows and content from the Disney vault. But, like all streaming services, Disney+ does remove content.
Those are Marvel characters, but the films are Sony-distributed flicks, so they aren't destined for Disney Plus anytime soon.
Sony also signed a deal with Disney for Morbius to appear on Disney+ and Hulu as part of “pay 2 window” streaming rights, with the expected release date for those services coming sometime in 2026. We don't however currently have definitive dates for when the movie will arrive on Hulu or Disney+ yet.

Thor: Love and Thunder: Release Date, Run time
Thor: Love and Thunder first hit theaters back in July but the MCU movie is finally available to watch on Disney+.

Why is Marvel Spider-Man not on Disney Plus?
